She has a keen knowledge of antiques, and a special fondness for collectibles. And when a fellow collector is murdered, Molly quickly develops an uncanny understanding of the criminal mind.

What I thought of this book.
Molly works for a Collectors magazine and she is following her mother around a sale trying to get a story for the magazine. One of the more aggressive collectors fall dead at the action and nobody is sure what exactly happened. The police think at first it might have been a heart attack.
Molly isn’t sure that is what happened because she remembers seeing the man rubbing his stomach before he died. Then they find out that he was given a dose of insulin. The man was diabetic and got a double dose as he had already took his shot before.
Molly uses her journalist skills to find out who exactly had it in for the collector because he wasn’t very well liked. Her snooping skills, plus her natural curiosity helps her find out who done it. This one had a different outcome than most mysteries and I enjoyed it. I think it was a good start to a series.
I enjoyed Molly as well as the other characters. This one was a bit sorter than most of the Ellery Adams books I have read but it was still wrapped up really good.
I really need to start writing my reviews while the book is fresher in my mind cause I know I am forgetting something I just can’t remember. 🙁 Anyway, if you are a fan of cozy mysteries then I think you will enjoy this one.
The Narrator:
Andi is a new to me narrator but she did a good job with this novel.

Ellery Adams writes a lot of books! I had not heard of this series although as you know I’m a fan of the Books by the Bay and the Storyton resort series, so it was kinda cool to see this one. Glad it was good!

Ellery Adams is definitely an author I want to read more of. The Book Resort series is high up on my TBR but this one looks really good. I like the idea of a series based around antiques.

I completely understand how you feel. I’ve felt the same way about some of my reviews where I’ve waited too long and felt sure I was forgetting something. Great review.
