A Month of Giving Thanks ~ Day 6 Narrator

November 6, 2016 Misc. 6

I have seen this done on Felicia @ Geeky Blogger blog and then I seen Berls and Michelle do it as well. As you can see Michelle gave me her button to use as I decided I wanted to do something this year.

Here is what you will see all month long on Books, Movies, Reviews. Oh my! I will be mentioning varies Bloggers, Authors, and Narrators on my blog. There could be more than one post a day as I think I came up with a list that went over 30 days. I also know that I can’t possibly mention every blogger, author or narrator I know all in thirty days so please don’t be upset if you didn’t get a mention cause if this goes over well and I find I liked doing it there is always next year. πŸ™‚

Narrator Susan Boyce:

Susan Boyce grew up in the Ocean State and planned to be an oceanographer. But after a college production of The Boyfriend, Boyce jumped ship for the theater. With a BA from the University of Rhode Island, a stage career as a song-and-dance new age vaudevillian began, touring New England, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, and the West Coast with jugglers, musicians, and storytellers. Providing an occasional voice-over evolved into narrating documentaries, voicing dolls and toys for the game industry, computer adventure games, and finally landing at audiobooks. Susan divides her time between Rhode Island and Florida, never liking to be too far from the ocean, her family, or her therapy dog, Vivian.

So one of my first cozy mystery series that I tried out on audio was The Tourist Trap Mystery series by Lynn Cahoon. With each audio in the series I listened to, I come to love listening to her voice and nobody else could be Jill. It’s interesting how you get wrapped in a Β voice and how it’s hard for you to listen to anyone else do that series. I hope that never happens as I would be crushed. I haven’t listened to her narrate anything else but this series but if I see a book narrated by her and it’s something I would enjoy I am sure I will jump on it. πŸ™‚ She is on my list of favorite narrators! She makes listening to my favorite series enjoyable!
