I have seen this done on Felicia @ Geeky Blogger blog and then I seen Berls and Michelle do it as well. As you can see Michelle gave me her button to use as I decided I wanted to do something this year.

Here is what you will see all month long on Books, Movies, Reviews. Oh my! I will be mentioning varies Bloggers, Authors, and Narrators on my blog. There could be more than one post a day as I think I came up with a list that went over 30 days. I also know that I can’t possibly mention every blogger, author or narrator I know all in thirty days so please don’t be upset if you didn’t get a mention cause if this goes over well and I find I liked doing it there is always next year. 🙂

I am thankful for other bloggers I have gotten to know because they really make it so much easier to continue blogging! Its a community and I love it! 🙂

Hi, I am Michelle, owner of Because Reading is better than real life. I started blogging in Feb 2013 just on a whim and have loved doing it ever since. I am also the co-host to 3 challenges, COYER, Reading Assignment Challenge and Bookish Resolutions.

I started reading when I was rather young. I enjoyed all types of books. My favorites where the Point Horror books and I would beg my mom to take me to the bookstore every weekend to get more. I had stopped reading hardcore for a while and when the Harry Potter books came out my love for reading blossomed again. It wasn’t until sometime in 2012 when I started really using Goodreads that I found my true passion for reading and then blogging. When I started my blog I had no idea what I was doing, I still cringe when I read those posts. I will say, it was/is one of the best things I ever thought of doing and I love it so much. It helped me build my confidence and boosted my self-esteem. At some point last year I decided to take my designing skills and start my own business, Limabean Design. I love designing and I love helping bloggers make things they will be proud to show off. I have been designing for 20 years, since right out of college. It is a passion of mine and I love everything artistic and creative.

When I am not blogging I am spending time with my amazing husband and my two little ones. My son is 11 and my daughter is 8. I passed on my gaming genes to them and we spend a lot of time playing video games and Minecraft together when I am not playing by myself. I am a true animal lover and have a house of pets: 1 dog – Dexter, 1 cat – Buttons, and 1 Hamster – Biscuit.

I have known Michelle for about 3 years now. Met her the same way I met Berls with signing up for the COYER challenge. After helping them out a bit with COYER they went and made me a co-host which is very exciting. We like to read a lot of the same types of books so I am always checking out her blog for new books to put on my list.

I got to met her in person for the first time in May at BEA in Chicago and it was just amazing how it seemed like we had just been friends forever and there were no weird awkward first meeting moments! It was such a great week and I miss her face so much!!! I am hoping to save up enough to visit her for BEA in New York since she lives nearby! Fingers crossed! 🙂

You should totally go check out her blog at Because Reading Is Better Than Real Life!

Michelle and Berls are awesome! 🙂 Linage has been on there a while but I took it off when you mentioned it cause I haven’t actually been reading it. I started it then just wasn’t interested for some reason so put it aside. 🙂

You should, we have a facebook page and we are a community of book lovers and we have a lot of fun!! 🙂 You can read as many or as little as you want during the challenge…this winter one is going to be a bit more challenging but still you should join! 🙂

Bumping my nose in, but I was thinking the same thing. So sad what hearing about how they aren’t going to accept as many bloggers in future years. I can still go because I’m a teacher… And I still may try to so I can grab books for my classroom (and me) but so sad 🙁

I’m hoping to go visit her too 🙂 do you think you’ll still try for BEA, now that there not making it so blogger friendly? I’m wondering if I can bring anyone along with my teacher status.

I don’t know, I am thinking since last year was my first time I probably won’t be one they would pick. I am really wanting to just visit Michelle but it would have been fun to do BEA too. It really depends on how much money I have when the time comes. I was checking into amtrak and it was expensive and I don’t want to do a bus again…lol.

Awww! Stormi! I love having you as my friend, I love our chats on Messenger and meeting you in person was like visiting a life long friend. I miss you too! Hey even if we can’t do BEA you both need to come this way and hang out. So much to do around here. We should make plans to visit each other once a year. I miss you and kim.
Love ya lady! Can’t wait until we can hang again!
