This year has been a good reading year. I actually kept track of how many books I read this year and all of my challenges. I am probably about the most unorganized blogger…well heck I am just an unorganized and cluttered person…lol. So this year I decided to try and work on that and so I am excited that I can actually let everyone know how I did on my challenges. 🙂
So far for Dec. I have read 13 books and that makes a total of 186 books this year. My goal was 175 so I am really proud of that and hope to even read more next year. 🙂 Hoping to get a couple more books in before the end of the year..so hoping to have a nice round number of 190. 🙂
I am going to go through each of my challenges and let you know how many books was read for that challenge and then select a couple of my favorite reads from each challenge.
I set out thinking I might only read 12 of these but I got in a mystery mood and it hasn’t let up and so I have read 34!!
Favorites:

I read a lot of fun ones and can’t wait to read some more.
I soared through this one with 56 books and I am so bad about clicking more I only moved my % up 5%. 🙁 So that is kind of a fail even though I read so many…lol.
Favorites:

I believe I signed up to read 10 and ended up reading 21 and liked it so much I took over the challenge for next year with a cohost. 🙂
Favorites:

I didn’t finish this one but I did pretty good. I got 19 out of the 26 letters and I decided this one was to hard for me to try next year…lol. So next year I am trying a different A-Z challenge to see if I can do that one. 🙂
Favorites:

I said I would read 40 and I blew that one out of the water with 76! 🙂
Favorites:

I could add more I am sticking to just three for each challenge…lol.
I signed up for ten and ended up with 19 as I realized this year that I am in the mood for not only mysteries but horror. 🙂 Also why I ended up cohosting the horror challenge. 🙂
Favorites:

I signed up to do 6 as I didn’t think I was going to read much romance but ended up reading 12. 🙂
Favorites:

I started out with just 16 as I didn’t think I really read that much in the new releases cause I was always behind, but this year I tried to keep up better and ended up reading 48. 🙂

I totally bombed this one which is why I am glad there is a change in the rules on this challenge for next year. 🙂
I didn’t do so good with my resolutions, like I pretty much bombed them all. What I learned is to be a bit more realistic with my goals which I think I did this time so hopefully I do better next year. 🙂

Wow, I’m impressed. I fail horribly at challenges LOL! Maybe next year I’ll try again:-)
Stormi
I learned that if I actually keep track I do pretty good…lol. I learned this year that I do best using a notebook to keep track of books read for challenges. 🙂
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
So about 90% of these books are on my TBR and I totally blame you! It does look like you had a great reading year and 190 books is crazy impressive!
Stormi
You are welcome and I think we are even cause I have put probably just as many of your books (especially the mysteries) on my TBR list…lol. 🙂
Aj @ Read All The Things!

The only one I won’t talk about is Netgalley. I failed so badly! LOL

I stay away from the challenges because I would fail so horribly-all except for the Net Galley thing-I do really well with my books from there. You did fantastic with yours!
