I am actually listening to this one but I have an ecopy of it as well so I went and found a section to tease with and it’s from 16% on my kindle fire. Little longer than one sentence but couldn’t help it.

“Hmm.” He frowned. “I’d hoped the dependence would be easing. Have you, er…indulged?”

She sighed. “Last night.”

“Oh, I say.” Finch’s eyes gleamed, confidential. “For how long this time?”

“At least eight hours. More, perhaps. And I think I might have…” Eliza shivered and glanced around, making sure no one w as listening. She lowered her voice. “I think I might have done something unspeakable.”

This was after Eliza drank the elixir and turned into Lizzie Hyde and well something happened and she thinks Lizzie did it…uh oh. 🙂

So far it’s been okay but I think it’s about to start getting better. I am hoping it picks up a bit.

      I think it will get better some books are just a tad slow at the beginning with all the building up they do. 🙂

    I have always considered this one, but now I may have to actually pick it up! I am listening to my first audio book ad I am still not sold, but I think the problem is I listen before bed and I just end up falling asleep…and then have nightmares (it’s narrated by Stephen King).

      I have never listened to one that the actual author narrates…lol. Not sure about that. 🙂 I would think it would be very hard to listen to a Stephen King book before bed and not have nightmares…hehehe. 🙂
