Top Ten Tuesday is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there will be a question to answer and I am not sure how well I will do but I am going to try and do this as much as possible during the month, some of those questions are tough! 🙂

Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean

If your favorite book is here, I am sorry, don’t hate me. 🙂

The Stand by Stephen King – Barb and I thought we would never make it through this one when we buddy read it!!! So boring!

Later by Stephen King – Just recently read this one and was not a fan! I didn’t feel like it was a crime novel but more a coming of age novel.

Little Heaven by Nick Cutter – I no longer remember what it was about but I know I DNFed it while Barb ranted about it the whole time she finished it…lol.

The Chalk Man by CJ Tudor – I feel like I am in the minority but this bored me and  I guessed the twist and the main character was just creepy and not in a good way!

The Hunger by Alma Katsu – It was supernatural twist on the Donner party and it was as slow as that wagon train and so boring!

The Girl in Red by Christina Henry – A Red Riding Hood retelling and I wanted to like it but it was just a girl wondering in the woods, what is fun about that! Boring!

The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn – Horrible unreliable narrator that was drunk all the time and it was just so boring and easy to guess the twist and turns.

Your Turn to Suffer by Tim Waggoner – Recently read this one and it was just confusing and weird and confusing!

The Ghost Tree by  Christina Henry – I just didn’t like the ranty racist old lady and some of the stereotypes that she used even though it was a book set in the 80’s and well it was just kind of boring.

The Forever House by Tim Waggoner – It was boring and had this one very creepy pedophile type character that  just was gross and it was just a bit to weird for me.

What are some books you would like to toss in the ocean?

  1. I’ve read a book by Christina Henry and liked it, but it wasn’t one of these. I’ve got Chalk Man on the library list for some point. LOL, I’ve read a few over the years that would make a list like this.

  2. I haven’t read any of these though Woman in the Window and Chalk Man are on my maybe list. The problem with thrillers is they seem to be either great or terrible with no in-between.
