The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
So this post is pretty much all about BEA and my fun time there and the haul. 🙂
So for anyone who has never been to BEA it is exhausting but also a lot of fun. You are on your feet for hours walking around and looking at publishers exhibits or standing in line for an autograph. (I was to shy to ask for a photo with my favorite authors and totally forgot to pics of them as well! though I did get a few pics of some authors.) And as much fun as that was I really had more fun just hanging out with my blogger friends afterwards.
Look at that mob, the first day wasn’t very organized…lol. That pic of me, I might be smiling but look at those tired eyes. 🙂
I tried to be as selective as I could with the amount of books I seen and if you have seen others hauls you will know there were a lot of books…lol. I also knew that I was going to have to fed ex most of mine back and that took a hit on my pocket book. (next time I am going by train like Berls as she could have a lot of luggage…lol.)
Day one Haul
Day one wasn’t so bad as it was only a half a day, but the next two days I was one tired gal. We got there early to get in line around 7;30ish am and normally left around 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon. That is a lot of walking and standing for this gal. 🙂
Day two haul
While I was walking around on one of the days I found this cute little ninja guy and found out he was a north pole ninja so had to have my pic taken with him…lol. And then here is a few pics of authors once I actually remembered to take some…lol.
North Pole Ninja Michael Connolly Lisa Yee (she was so adorable!)
By the third day my feet and legs were so sore I took many breaks and I am sure I missed out on some good books but I am happy with the haul that I got. I was really their to meet my blogging friends and that was the best fun! I am now ready to try something like RT so I am going to save my monies up for 2017 in hopes of going to Atlanta! 🙂
Day Three Haul
You can see all the books on my goodreads page for BEA 16.
Some totes and comic books.
I got around 15 autographs but here are my two prized possessions. 🙂
Brenda Novak and Heather Graham
And that is my abbreviated tale of my time at BEA…lol. My poor dad got the long version and I probably bored him to pieces…lol.

Books I have added
So as if I didn’t get enough books at BEA!
From Publishers and audiobooks to review
This week was a book week! 🙂
I bought the narration for these after buying the books because Michelle Mankin said she has a great narrating team and I was curious and then I met Patrick Lawlor at the Naudies and wanted to try one of the books he narrated. 🙂
Those last two cozy mysteries I got cause I met C.A.Newsome at BEA. I didn’t know it but I was talking to her by the ATM and then she told me about her friends book and well since they were free I thought I would try them. 🙂
Books read last week
I was in a listening mood…lol.
