Happy Easter! 🙂
This week I seeded some veggies in my little portable greenhouse, so fingers crossed something happens and I don’t just waste a bunch of seeds. I am not sure if I have a green thumb or not…lol. Dad has decided to try and make some raised beds this year and will be going after the dirt for them this week, then he has to build the actual beds so we shall see if this happens. 🙂
Other than that not a lot happened this week.
Oh I went and seen Batman v. Superman and well it was okay but not great. Not the best comic movie, but sets in motion the need for a Justice League. I think the best thing was the introduction of Wonder Woman and I can’t wait for her first movie next year. There will also be the first Justice League movie next year and then in 2018 we get Flash and Aquaman and then in 2020 (I think) it’s Cyborg, so DC is finally getting their buts in gear with some superhero movies I just hope they are good. 🙂

Super excited for the Wonder Woman book! The other one I didn’t ask for and so I am not so sure about it as I am not huge on contemporary romances, but you never know. 🙂
Bought (kindle)

I thought the first book was interesting so seen book two for .99 and had to grab it. 🙂
Well look at that I didn’t do so bad this week. I hardly got anything. 🙂

I read Nightstruck and have my review scheduled to go live closer to release date. I thought it was an interesting read. I haven’t read anything like it. I hope you enjoy it. I also went and saw Batman V Superman. I wasn’t overly impressed either. I will say that I didn’t think Ben Affleck was bad. I know he is catching a lot of flack for it. I really didn’t like Lex Luther. I keep seeing Tallahassee from Zombieland, so it just didn’t work for me. I did love Wonder Woman, but thought there wasn’t enough of her, especially considering how much of her they put in the trailers. Good luck with your garden.
Stormi
Good to know it’s an interesting one as Nightstruck sounded cool. Yeah, Affleck was better than I thought it would be and I agree I didn’t like Lex Luther either, he did crazy well but he just didn’t strick me as Luther. I think they just wanted to give us enough WW so that we will want to watch her movie that comes out next year. 🙂
Laura @trips down imagination road
Good luck with your veggies Stormi! I only tried growing them once when I was a kid, though I do think we got a few carrots out of it! Happy Easter. Have a great week and happy reading!
Stormi
Thanks, I hope they do okay. I have never grown them from seeds before..so I need lots of luck and a green thumb…lol.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Enjoy your week and your new books. The Whole Cat and Caboodle looks like fun.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Stormi
Thanks, that one does look fun so I hope it is. 🙂

I see you couldn’t resist Nightstruck. I plan on trying to grab The Great Hunt from the library. The people around the corner from us did two raised beds last year and they turned out great. Happy Easter to you too!
Stormi
Yeah and it’s all your fault…lol. It looked good so I requested but didn’t know if I would get it and then a few days ago boom in my inbox a note saying I got it. 🙂
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
I was just realizing that it’s the time of year to get my plants in the ground. I can’t wait for fresh tomatoes! You have been on a roll with reviews! I’m hoping to get back on a roll as I have most definitely fallen off!
Stormi
Yeah, I didn’t realize it was time to plant my seeds and I am a bit behind. This is my first time trying to grow my veggie plants from seeds in a green house then transplanting.
Whitney @ First Impressions Reviews
I have heard very mixed things about Batman vs Superman but I’m glad you enjoyed it. Have a great week!
Stormi
Yeah, I was hoping it would be better and didn’t care for the ending but I know it’s the start of the Justice League as there will be the first movie for it next year, but Batman was such a jerk…I just wanted to smack him…lol.
A Voracious Reader
We’re going to see Batman v Superman this week. We saw the preview when we saw Deadpool and it looked ok. My 16-yr-old son has just been dying to see it. He’s a huge Batman fan. Personally, I’m a Marvel girl. 😀
Good luck on the seeds and the raised beds. We have one raised bed we grow tomatoes and peppers in. Hopefully we’ll have a good crop this year. Our garden out back didn’t do so well, but we think it’s a combo of not enough nutrients and sun. We need to take out some trees that create too much shade back there. I’m thinking all the pines which are a pain anyway. It’s not like we’ll be tree deficient. We live in the woods. 🙂
Stormi
I am more of a Marvel girl to but my Dad loves all things comic and superhero so we went and seen it…lol. Though I am so not sure about Civil War as my two favorites are up against each other and I hate seeing them fight…lol (Capt. America and Iron Man)
Greg
Happy Easter Stormi! I think the new Wonder Woman looks great and I look forward to her movie. They seemed to do a good job w/ her anyway. And Nightstruck I want to read, looks dark and fun. 🙂
Stormi
Yeah, I can’t wait for Wonder Woman, my dad said he liked her and that is good seeing he is so partial to his WW Linda Carter…lol.
Heather @ Random Redheaded Ramblings
I’m more a Disney/Marvel sort of girl and a lot of the reviews of Batman v Superman put me off it, Ben Affleck is not Batman to me!!
Have a good week!
Stormi
Yeah, I am more Marvel than DC but I do like some characters. 🙂
Lola
I hope your plants will grow! I am not sure if I have a green thumb either, we don’t have a garden only a few plants in the window. Those still live, but I almost killed a few as well.
I hope you’ll enjoy The perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
Stormi
I hope I have a green thumb only time will tell, maybe by next Sunday I will see some results at least from a few plants. Fingers crossed. So far I am liking Paranormal Museum but not gotten very far. 🙂
Tracy (@Cornerfolds)
I haven’t heard many great things about Batman v Superman. I don’t think I’ll end up seeing it… It looks like you got a lot of great books this week! I didn’t love The Great Hunt, but I hope you do! 😀
Charlie @ Girl of 1000 Wonders
I am done with the hype of new comic/superhero films. I’ve heard a few people who weren’t impressed with Batman v. Superman. I hope your seedlings turn out! Can’t wait for pictures!
sherry fundin
It has been raining for a few days, so I have not been able to do much outside, though the temps are warm. Good luck with the seeds.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Stormi, you’re amazing. I know there are two of you reviewing, but how do you manage to read and review so many books in a week?!
Good luck with your garden! I am envious of anyone with even half a green thumb. I don’t seem to have one at all.
Good to have your thoughts on Batman vs. Superman. I’m not a huge Batman fan (and Christopher Reeve will forever be Superman to me), but I am still interested… but might wait for it to show up on Netflix.
Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
OOoh nice! I LOVED Nightstruck but prepare for a scream-worthy cliffhanger! I loathe waiting, and waiting for that next book will be killer!! Agh!
And ooh The Great Hunt! I still need to read that one! Hope you enjoy all your reads this week!
Here’s my Monday Wrap-up
Have a GREAT day!

I am not sure I even know what a raised bed is? Anyway good luck with them! I also didn’t know that the Superman movie was out yet. Night Stuck’s cover looks good but I have zero idea what it’s about. Enjoy!
