BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Well, this week was a lot slower, thank goodness…lol. Last week wore me out, so I was okay with having not a lot to do. Now I am going to start preparing for a garden, I have decided to try seed my own transplant veggie plants on the ones that you can as some it say direct sow. Last year, was a learning year for me and things didn’t go well but I think this year might go better as I have learnt a few things. So my cousin gave me a little portable greenhouse to start my plants, but I have to seed him some plants too…lol. (always a stipulation to free things…lol) So that will probably be what I do tomorrow. If everything goes as planned I am thinking of doing a How My Garden Grows post borrowed from Michelle @ Because Reading. 🙂

The weather around here is so strange…ugh. It has been so nice and warm and now this weekend it rain and so cold. 🙁 Friday night it was 28…sighs…so ready for permanent spring weather!!! 🙂

My weight loss is going well. I have lost a total of 15 pounds in eight weeks!! I have had some ups and downs but that is to be expected. 🙂

  1. I’m glad you’ve had a calmer week, Stormi, and kudos on your weightloss!
Your new books look great, I will have to take a look at audible, even if I have a ton of books to listen to already 😉
I had to laugh at your ‘free’ greenhouse, where you have to plant some seeds for your cousin… and I look forward to seeing your gardening posts. Here, it’s Mr. Lex who cares for the garden, I tend to kill things :O
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  2. Good luck with your garden! Last year was a trial year for me, too. My winter crop was pretty great as I now have broccoli, cabbage, and lettuce out the wazoo! My spring seedlings are all ready to go into the beds. I’m in Florida and we have to start everything super early otherwise the extreme heat kills everything and it’s already in the 80’s-90’s so it’s probably going to be a very hot summer. I’m hoping I have better luck with my tomatoes this year!
Oooh, a Chewy Funko Pop! Have a great week! Happy Reading!

  3. Great job on the weight loss!! I’m bummed I missed the deal on Six of Crows. I just joined audible and I see that I wasn’t subscribed to their emails. Now I am so hopefully I won’t miss out on these great deals.

I hope you have a great week and good luck with the garden!

  4. Good luck with your garden! We don’t have a garden so I always enjoy seeing pictures of other people their gardens. Here we also had some weird weather, sunny some days and cold and cloudy other days.
Oh Bread of the Death is on my to-read list, so I’ll have to check if it’s still discounted. And Poison Study is a great series! I hope you’ll enjoy that one, Have a great week!

  5. Gardening was something I used to do…and I must say that it felt very productive. Especially when the plants/veggies came in.

Enjoy….and your books look tempting, too. I love the cover on Maggie Dove.

I haven’t read a Joanne Fluke book in a long time, but I’m addicted to the TV series on Hallmark.

  6. So glad you had a calmer week. I can’t wait to hear about your veggies. I would love to have a greenhouse. I have to buy plants from the nursery. I won’t be able to get my tomatoes into the ground until late May. Good luck with your new books.

  7. Good luck with the garden! LOL about the “free” seeds- always a catch right? 🙂 Wacky weather here too, although the opposite- very windy end of last week but sunny today (and fairly warm). So ready for spring…

Ellery Adams seems to really crank the books out, I’ve noticed. Haven’t heard of those three!

    Murder on Wheels looks fun.

  8. Oh my gosh Stormi… I’m envious over your Jane Austen collection audio. I LOVE Benedict and he would be a wonderful narrator. That’s actually the sort of thing I’d love to listen to when I’m driving so I must check that out.

I’ve read all of her work (and love it) but listening to it would be a delight!

  9. It would have been hard to resist buying Chewie. I have refrained from starting to but the Pop figures because I bet it would be habit forming. There is a store that sells them right next door to where I work but I manage not to go in too often. We have always wanted a VW bus like the one on the cover of Murder By Wheels. Congrats on the 15 pounds.

  10. Bread of the Dead was so good! CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss! That’s fantastic! I *need* to start doing something. The weather here has been the same. I walked out Saturday night to go buy a new dress and had to run back in and put on pants and a jacket. Can’t wait to see your plants! I haven’t moved mine back outside yet because it keeps getting cold. I’m worried I’ll be gone and there will be a cold snap and freeze.
