Okay so nothing real exciting has happened this week at all. It was pretty boring…lol.

Blog news: Barb from Booker T’s FarmΒ and I are hosting the Cloak and Dagger Challenge for any one who loves crime novels it will contain anything in the mystery/suspense/thriller/crime genre. We are waiting on our graphic but will be posting a sign up soon! Hope some of you will join in with us so we don’t feel lonely…lol.

I am also cohosting with Lexxie from Unconventional Book View the 2016 New Release Challenge again. And last but not least it’s getting close to Winter COYER time! I cohost this with two lovely ladies Berls from Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle from Because Reading! Sign up for this event is on the 21st! πŸ™‚

Books I have added

*hangs head in shame* I don’t know what happened with this week but OH MY, between the tempting emails about how this one Β is from the same author tempting me and just seeing books in a series that I have already read tempting me I failed really big time with the whole try not to get books from netgalley or edelweiss…sighs. Yeah, I was a bit proud of myself…though one was a 32 page graphic novel…lol. I really enjoyed the first one in this series even though it’s contemporary romance and I don’t read a lot of those, but put it in Scotland and I am there…lol. πŸ™‚ Especially on audio she does the accent. πŸ™‚

  1. Cloak and Dagger sounds like a challenge I might do, I thought about that one last year. Should have too, since I read a fair amount of mysteries LOL.

I was curious about Powerless, hope that was good. I’ll kee an eye out for your review.

    Have a nice week.

    • Stormi

I do hope you will join us cause you did read some great mystery I seen them on your blog. πŸ™‚ Powerless was okay but not exactly what I was expecting. I sort of expected more survival and less political stuff.

  2. So I’m guessing Quiet Neighbors is the one that’s my fault? πŸ™‚ Hopefully it’s fantastic!

Hargrove House looks really good. I can never resist a haunted house. Meet me in Scotland sounds lots of fun too. The Cloak and Dagger challenge sounds fun! I love a good crime novel. Have a great week!

    • Stormi

You guessed right! πŸ™‚ I hope it’s good too it sounds so interesting. I am getting a lot of books for next year already…I so have to cut back so I hope I can. You did great with the empty haul. πŸ™‚

I hope you will join our Cloak and Dagger challenge then, I am in such a mystery mood of late. πŸ™‚

    • Stormi

I do hope you will join, it’s one I am sure I can finish as I have already acquired a lot of books for 2016 already…goodness!

  3. Wow that is a lot of great books you got this week. I’m looking away so I’m not tempted lol. I’ll be joining the New Release Challenge again. I went past my goal so I’ll increase it for next year. Have a great week!

    • Stormi

Yes, look away or it will suck you in. That is my problem I don’t look away enough…lol. Glad to hear you will be joining the New Release Challenge. I had to up my goal for next year too as I read way more than I

  4. Oh I like the idea of a New Release reading challenge. Mostly I read new releases so that would be okay. I’ll have to check out the requirements!!!

I actually missed Arlidge’s The Doll House (though have read the rest) so am keen to see what you think of it!

    • Stormi

Well, three of them come from Kathy who post on my blog but most of the other stuff is I do a lot of blogging ahead. πŸ™‚

  5. I really shouldn’t have, but I went to NetGalley and requested Quiet Neighbors. lol Did those graphic novels come from NetGalley also? I can’t get ADE to open books with ACSM so I’m giving up on them. It’s very frustrating. Grrrr!

    • Stormi

Quiet Neighbors just looks so good so I hope it is! πŸ™‚ The Graphics I got were from Edelweiss and I didn’t have any problems opening them. They are from Dark Horse Publishing. I did have problems when I tried opening The Green River Killer and the publishers were really cool about sending me a download to my email. πŸ™‚

  6. Somebody opened those Netgalley invites. LOL Great bunch of books. I have one I might request as it’s the sequel to won I just got. I’ll check out those challenges. I’m looking to add a new one for next year.

    • Stormi

Yes I did…lol. I get ones from the publisher though too saying…you liked this one..well the author has a new one coming out on netgalley now…it’s hard to resist…lol.

  7. You must read really fast! I am not familiar with any of your books although I think I have seen something about Pop Goes the Weasel. Enjoy your books and your week!
