So I swear this always happens though they say it has no baring on getting your flu shot but I got mine last week and have been sick all week this week. 🙁 What is the deal? Happens every time. So I haven’t read as much as I hoped this week and I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep cause of coughing…blah. Other than that things are going great. 🙂

Okay so I am trying graphic novels…lol. I am not a huge fan but I just recently finished the Dresden Files: Down Town and thought it was interesting so I am trying books that I am familiar with and well Uncle Scrooge and Ghostbusters…two things I grew up knowing. 🙂

Wow, busy week! I hope you enjoy all those new books and have a great week 😀

I’ve heard quite a few people who had reactions to the flu shot this year. I wonder what the deal is with this year’s vaccine. Hope you feel better! All of the books you’re currently reading look interesting. I read A Killer Plot years ago and enjoyed it but never revisited the series. Have a great week!
Uncle Scrooge is on NetGalley? oooooh
I hope you’re feeling better, flu sucks. I still need my flu shot. Have a good week!
I am sorry to hear you catched a flu, I hope you’re feeling better soon! I had a sore throat this week, but I am feeling better already. I used to read a lot of manga’s/ graphic nvoels a few years back, I enjoy them and seeing the artwork, but I eventually stopped buying them as they can be pretty expensive compared to normal books. I hope you’ll have a great week!
I always get my flu shot in October…and never have a reaction. This year, I did have more aches and pains…and maybe they had nothing to do with the shot.
But that was the extent of it, so I’m glad.
Enjoy your new books….Uncle Scrooge takes me back, and I’m smiling.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well. I’ve heard people get reactions to the flu shot, but it’s never happened to me. I got my shot last week too and haven’t had any problems. I hope you feel better soon!
Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy your books and have a great week!
I love how you are choosing things from your past. I’ve been slowly rereading books from my childhood and it’s always such a great way for nostalgia!
I hope you’ll feel better very soon, Stormi! I wonder if your body is fighting the vaccination a little too hard? Hopefully, this means you’ll be set for the whole winter as well as spring 🙂
Your new books look great. Enjoy them!
Ugh, that’s too bad about your flu shot. I got it for the first time in years last November and ended up with the flu over New Years! :/ I don’t know if I’ll be getting it again… Enjoy your new books!
Flu sucks. I need to get my flu shot, but I always have a bad reaction to it. You got some interesting books.
Grace @ Books of Love
I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well, Stormi! (And thanks for the reminder – I need to get my flu shot.) Good thinking on the graphic novels. Maybe I’ll try that as a way to see if I like them.
Graphic novels are fun if you find the ones you like. If I do I’m good but if it’s one I don’t like, I get so bored. 🙂
Hope you feel better. I never get the flu shot and everyone always says I’m crazy, but sometimes you still get sick! I heard somewhere it only protects from certain strains?
TEN I liked, Before the Storm looks good, and I liked A Killer Plot too.
Hope you get to feeling better. I had to go snag Evangeline. You really should try Locke & Key graphic novel series. They are great. I only started reading graphic novels in the last year or so. Waiting to see what you think of Beasts of Barcroft.
I’ve heard a lot of people say that about the flu shot. We got ours on Friday so hopefully we won’t get sick. I hope you feel better! I really liked Jackaby and I hope you do too! I hope you have a good week!
Another busy one for you Stormi. Do you believe I don’t even really know what tsu is / does?
It looks like some of your upcoming books will be perfect for Halloween!
Deb
Oh, Bunnicula was one of my favorite books as a kid! And I remember liking the Ghostbusters Saturday morning cartoon. I liked Ten by Gretchen McNeil, you should go ahead and read it. I haven’t seen that As Dead as it Gets book, but have read two other books in that series. Need to get on that! Great haul!
I love the Ghostbusters, I am so excited there is a comic, will need to check that out!!
