The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
First week of work was about as boring as ever! Oh well, it has it’s perks like a bookstore full of lovely cheap Scholastic books!! I have my eye on a few but must wait for my first check which will be next Friday…then it’s making sure I don’t go wild…cause the paperbacks are .35 and the hardcovers are $2.00!!!! One I really have my eye on is Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender!! I just recently read one of her books and really liked it so got to get that one! 🙂
I have been really laxed on commenting back and I am sorry, I am going to try and get caught up this week…bad me, bad me. Other than that not much going on here in my neck of the woods. 🙂

Oh my, quite a few books. Is that THE Exorcist book? I’ve never read it; I hope it’s good. And at those prices, I think I’d go wild in that book store. Wow. Have fun!
Yes that is THE Exorcist book. 🙂 I was curious to see how different it is from the movie and it was on sale so couldn’t help myself. 🙂
Stormi – quite a few books on your recent, current and coming reads list that look interesting.
And as for not being up to date on blog commenting, I’m exactly the same. I follow over 100 blogs via Feedly but tend to find myself just struggling to keep up with commenting on blogs from the Sunday Post and a Tuesday Linkup I do. I’m not getting to a lot of other blogs in between!
I am always playing catch up with trying to comment on blogs…lol. 🙂
Those books ARE cheap!! I hope you get some really good choices. Can you read while at work? Maybe that will help make it less boring. Happy reading!
Yes, I can read while working it’s one of the perks. 🙂 It’s still surprising how five hours reading at work and five at home go by differently….lol.
You are definitely getting into some scary books. LOL Can’t wait for reviews! I’m not doing a Sunday Post as I won’t be able to visit or comment. Going to Biloxi and New Orleans for a few days of fun! Try not to spend your whole paycheck, Stormi. LOL I love the used book sales and tend to go crazy at them.
You’re also like me at times. I see you all over the place commenting. We get so caught up on visiting other blogs, we sometimes forget our own. LOL
Yes, I am….lol. Your not having a post is saving me from getting like five new freebie books, but I am sure I will stock up next week if you post. 🙂 Enjoy your trip!
I have been wanting to read Ella the Slayer, I may have to go and download it!

I have heard good things about it.
Sorry to hear your work is doing, but damn those books are cheap, that’s really neat! I hope you can get some good ones next week. I hope you’ll have a good week!
Yeah, one of the nice perks of working at Scholastic’s call center, but calls for orders have been down so not that busy.
Great round up this week!!
Thanks! 🙂
My paycheck would be GONE at those prices! You need to let me know if you have any captain underpants books might need you to get me a few and I’ll send you the money, my son loves those.
Because we told her too looks creepy. Love creepy books 🙂
Have a great week, Stormi, I hope this week isn’t boring 🙂
Happy Reading! ox
Yeah, I have to be careful when I go in to the bookstore…lol. Because you have kids your paycheck would be gone faster than mine…lol. They do have Captain Underpants so I will check and see what the titles are. 🙂
Hope your job gets more interesting…boring days are the hardest.
Great haul….enjoy! Thanks for visiting my blog.
So many good ones this week!! I really can’t wait to see what you thought of The Dead House! I’ve had my eye on that one! Steam is on my TBR too! And how cool that you work in a bookstore! I hope you have a great week 😀
You are killing it book-wise both in the getting and the reading! The prices on those books! It’d be hard not to just buy one of everything. I’m sorry work has been boring. Nothing makes a day drag on more than boredom. Have a great week!
You are such a bad influence. I just grabbed Briar Queen and Ella the Slayer. I also can’t wait to read Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall. Hope the job gets more exciting – or at least you paycheck my help with that huh? Have a great week!
Ella, the Slayer is great! I was part of the book tour. I enjoyed every minute of that read.
Wow nice haul Stormi. I could use a week off to catch up. I sat down to listen to the audio of Dark House and fell asleep for 3 hours..now I feel like a sloth. LOL
Nice haul Stormi! Hope you enjoy them.
That’s a very big haul, Stormi 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy all your new books.
And work… well, at least it is something that will let you have a little more money for a while, right? Even if it’s boring 🙁
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.
I would get myself into so much trouble with bargain books like that! Congrats on the haul. I hope you enjoy them all.
Have a great week!
I worked in the mall during college and my paycheck was almost always already spent for clothes I had put on hold. I can imagine now going through that bookstore and spending a lot with that incredible deal. I can’t wait to see your post showing your book haul lol. You got a lot of spooky books and I also have Seize The Night. I plan to read it for October. Have a great week Stormi!
Your job has books for sale? I would never have money left in my paycheck but that’s just me. The Exorcist-I read it before it got so famous and it’s still one of the scariest books I have ever read. Enjoy your books 🙂
