The Week In Review #410

The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

This week went by kind of quick with a couple doctors appts and just being busy trying to work on my ebay store. I have sold 5 items which I think is pretty good for a brand new store because it’s hard to get people to buy from you when you have no stars or feedback. Right now I will take any sell I get. 🙂 The more things I sell the more I get out of my space. 🙂

Dad is doing a lot better but he went and got a tick panel just in case because they are thick out here this year and he has been bit a few times. I still think it was all because he was severely dehydrated because it’s been really hot and his room is not real cool as our AC isn’t working right. While at Denny’s a bird wanted to come in, I don’t blame it…lol.

So my aunt said to come over and get her books and I could keep them or sell them. I didn’t realize how many that meant till I got there!!!! UGH…lol. I had a photo but I accidently deleted it anyway it was two medium tubs and two boxes!! Mostly romance, but some mystery/suspense and other genres. 🙂

Not much else to report, so have a great week and happy reading!  Oh and Happy Fourth of July Weekend!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Books read last week

  • The Tuesday Night Survivor’s Club – I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I was a bit leery as it was about cancer survivors and didn’t want it to be to cancer heavy but it wasn’t. (7 hr audiobook)
  • A Hero’s Guide to Deadly Dragons – Still a cute series! This is #6 and there are 12 so I will finish the series by the end of the year. 🙂 (3 hr audiobook)
  • The Inspector and Mrs. Jefferies – The first in a long running series, why do I do this to myself…lol. I really liked it though. 🙂 (6 hr audiobook)
  • Mr Klutz is Nuts – The second book in the My Weird School series and it’s just cute. Super short but cute. (45 minute audiobook)
  • Traitor’s Chase – Book 2 in The Last Musketeer series and I really enjoyed it. (5 hr audiobook)
  • Double Cross – Book 3 in The Last Musketeer trilogy and I really this whole trilogy. (5 hr audiobook)
  • Onyeka and the Academy of the Sun – I thought this one was okay, sort of your average kid gets super powers type book. Those powers just happen to be in her hair. (Print ARC)
  • Death at Castle Dark – First book in the Diner in a Murder Mystery and it was really good! (9 hr audiobook)

  • Neverseen – I really tried as the first book was so good but then the second book was decent, the third book boring and well this one was just as boring and so I am calling it quits on the series. To many other books to read to be bored with a 672 page book.

Currently reading

  • 6 Rainier Drive – The 6th book in the Cedar Cove series and I think I almost let to much time past between books as I am having a hard time remembering characters! Still enjoyable just lots of characters.
  • Amari and the Great Game – Sequel to Amari and the Night Brothers and not real far into it but so far it’s good.

What might be up next

Not sure but probably some retro romance for my Retro Romance Summer Vacation Readathon. 🙂

  1. I’m glad your dad is feeling better. I do hope it’s just dehydration and that he’ll continue to improve. Congrats on your sells in your store. And, that sounds like a lot of books! Are there any good ones that are worth keeping?

    • Thanks!
It was a lot of books! There was a lot of I was interested in, lots of old romances and some mysteries. 🙂 I also have a bunch I can lot up and sell too.

    • Yeah it was a lot! 🙂 I am going through them, cleaning them up and selling some and keeping ones that I think I might like. 🙂

  2. That’s great about your eBay store! One of these days I’m going to either start that one or a Mercari. I’ll have to research which is best. I’ve a few books I’d rather try selling to collectors than the used bookstore.

Yay for not adding to the TBR pile this week! My post is a two week haul…so I pretty much did the opposite! Lol. Happy Reading!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  3. Good luck with your ebay store! And I hope your dad’s tests come back with good results and he’s staying better hydrated I hope!

    Have a great week!
