The Week In Review #375

The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween. I am not doing much here but watching the classic Wolfman, it’s my little tradition.

Not much has happened here except cold weather which we all know I hate so it has made me a bit moody and I couldn’t concentrate on reading. I am counting down the days till spring!

Have a great week and happy reading!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Nothing

Books read last week

  • How Do You Live? – Not my normal type of read and it was okay, but it is a classic Japanese story that was translated for the first time in English. It’s a coming of age story.
  • A Discovery of Witches – This was a reread and just as great as the last two times. 🙂
  • Faithless – I wanted to really like this and I think some will but the first 60% of this was so boring and just filled with a man drinking and popping pills and hearing voices, then the last 40% or so takes a 180 turn in the direction this was going and got wild. If it would have all been like that it would have been great!

Currently reading

  • Crota – I am really enjoying this one and I wanted to get it finished during the week but it didn’t happen, so I am 65% into it so hopefully tonight I can finish it.
  • A Wolf in Duke’s Clothing – I am buddy reading this with a discord friend as I felt I needed a change in genre because October hasn’t been the best reading month. 🙁

What might be up next

I’ve read A Discovery of Witches it was pretty good. Crota looks interesting I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing and have a Happy Halloween!

  2. I’ve kind of determined that the change to cooler weather always give me a chest cold so I’m extra not a fan at the moment. Colder weather makes me kind of moody too so I’m right with you! We didn’t do much for Halloween either other then eat candy. That’s too bad about the Hunter Shea book though I’m glad it picked up. Have a great week!

Oh you should I love the All Souls Trilogy! I don’t mind fall temps like the 60’s but when my nights are 29 it’s no longer fall temps…lol. 🙂
