The Week In Review #328

The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

This week wasn’t a very productive week as I wasn’t really in the mood for doing much and the last part of it was very busy. Weather wise I am afraid the warmer weather is now gone. 🙁 The highest we got was in the 50s and we have had some nights in the 20s. This week mostly in the 40s for a high…counting down the days till warmer weather and longer daylight!!

Thursday we did Thanksgiving with some friends, today we are having our family Thanksgiving after church.

Friday I decorated a tree and it’s probably been about 18 years since I did so! I helped our church decorate for Christmas.

Saturday was much more low key and I liked it though I did have to bake cookies for Sunday’s dinner.

Not much else happened. Hope you have a great week!

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

  • An Unexpected Peril – EEEK! I love this series and so I am always holding my breath (not really…lol) until I get accepted for the book! Can’t wait to buddy read this with Barb in the new year!

Books read last week

  • Nightmare – I am still debating my thoughts on this one. I liked parts of it didn’t others and the ending GAH!!! Not sure if it was horrible or brilliant.
  • The Invisible Library – This is a reread as Barb and I wanted to read this series and I have only read this one but I needed a refresher! 🙂

Currently reading

  • Where the Mountain Meets the Moon –  Middle grade fantasy book, trying really hard to get it read before Monday is up so it counts for my Believathon readathon but not sure if it will happen…lol.
  • Forget About Me – Second chance romance from the Boston Classic series, the audio is great except for the parts where it sounds like they rewind or fast forward a cassette tape, so annoying!

What might be up next

  1. We’ve had a really nice couple of days weather- wise. Sunny and bright- rare for us this time of year haha! And cute tree! Hope you had a great thanksgiving!!!

  2. I’m basking in our cooler temps right now. Lol. This is my element and I wait all year long to leave behind our 90s and above temps. Lol. I hope your temps won’t be too brutal for you.

Nice new read too! Haven’t read this series but the covers are always so gorgeous! Hope you love it!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  3. The weather has been just weird, it was so hot the other day and now it’s a bit chilly again. I wish it would make up it’s mind.
The tree is so cute. I used to help the church with a giving tree, I always loved it, not sure what they plan to do this year. Not a church person anymore but that tree was always just a great ideas.

Have a great week, Stormi! Happy Reading! xx

  4. We have cold weather coming our way next week and I’m not happy about it. At least I don’t have to go anywhere in it I guess.

I bought us a new tree but it’s not up yet. Hopefully next weekend! The tree you decorated looks so nice!

Hope to see you at book club today! Have a great week 😁

  5. We’ve been having nice weather but the forecast says it’s going to get cooler this week.

Your books look great. Enjoy them and have a great week!

  6. We are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow Tuesday. We usually get your weather after you so did you manage to miss this freak storm? I am SOOOO glad we have the new Veronica book to look forward to. I can’t wait.

That tree is so pretty. I managed to finish the Christmas mantles today after painting the hall some so at least those are done. I’m not really thrilled with one though and it may get some tweaks. Can’t wait to get those pretty Prince-inspired (not really) nails. Seriously though, they could have called them Purple Rain.

Oh, The invisible library, I just added it to my TBR list after resisting as long as I could – well, there’s always room for one more book 😉 I decorated yesterday and put everything out of reach from the cats…
