The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading? ย If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.
Well, this week has been pretty quiet. Not much going on at my job as it’s been really slow and low man on the totem pole, which is me, gets sent home early. Oh well, I was just lucky they kept me when they normally lay off the seasonal workers in Dec. ๐
I enjoyed the nice weather we had here and felt sorry for those who got snowed in. This weekend now it’s back to being cold and we have a chance of snow, but hopefully if they are right it’s just a dusting. I am so reading for spring!!! ๐
#Fitreader
So I haven’t been doing very well with this. I really need to get one of those pedometers so I can count my steps. I did get on the treadmill a couple times this week for a few minutes..not sure why it is so much harder for me to walk a treadmill than to just take a walk..I can walk a mile no problem if I just go for a walk but on a treadmill I feel like I am dying after three minutes…lol.
Does getting in wood every day count for exercise cause it sure wears me out..lol. Okay so I really need to get series about this stuff..I need to lose a lot of weight but I have a hard time motivating myself..will try better next week. ๐

Books read last week
Currently reading
Mandy from The Reading Diariesย and I are going to try and conquer Seeker together as we are both afraid all the negative reviews and thought it would be fun to do a buddy read. ๐
What might be up next
Have you joined Tsu yet? Come on over and friend me there:ย https://www.tsu.co/BMReviews
Did you get any good books this week? Did you read something great this week? Leave a link and I will visit!
I have Soul Meaning on my kindle, too, Stormi and it’s been there for a very long time. Maybe 2015 will be the year I finally read it?
I have trouble motivating myself to work out, too. I don’t know why – we have a full gym in the basement thanks to my very sporty husband. There’s a stationary bike, an elliptical, free-weights, medicine balls, mats… I’m just being way too lazy these days.
I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Happy reading.
Maybe we will both read Soul Meaning this year..lol. ๐ Man I wish I had a place for workout equipment. That is one of the problems, my elliptical is in a place that during the winter it sort of gets wood crammed in front of it so I can’t get to it to use it..lol.
Congrats on your win and great job working that coupon! The Greenwood book is on my wish list. I watched the series on NetFlix and really enjoyed it.
Have a great week!
Thanks, I love making the most of my coupons. ๐ Yeah I love watching that show on netflix too so I was really curious about the books. ๐
Getting in wood sounds like it should count as exercise! It sounds like it’d be exhausting. I’ve been thinking about a pedometer as well and have thought about a FitBit or the equivalent. I definitely need to do something to be more active. Hope you enjoy Cocaine Blues! I read it not too long ago and liked it. The descriptions of the clothes were amazing. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
I think it works good for biceps. ๐ I would love to have a fitbit but they are above my cost. ๐ I am happy to know that you like Cocaine Blues, I love the show on netflix. ๐
I’ve seen a good bit of disappointment around Red Queen. I still need to read Throne of Glass! Hope you have a great week!
SP & STS
Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know
I have seen good and bad about Red Queen so I am curious.
This is why I decided to read Ever Darkening! It’s gone round too many other bloggers now for me to ignore it anymore!
I grabbed up Ever Darkening and then Michelle didn’t like so now I am worried..lol. I hope I like it. ๐
I loved Nearly departed and have most of the series. I went a little one click happy this week too! But I stayed away from Edelweiss and Netgalley. Whew!
My Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/02/01/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-95-and-the-sunday-post/
I have seen some good reviews about Nearly Departed and it sounds fun! ๐
If you are training for a specific event then carrying wood probably won’t help; but if the focus is burning calories any movement helps and counts.
Going for a walk is more interesting than the treadmill and you are probably fatigued through boredom. I find I cannot read on a t-mill so I list to a book. But, I am not running these days because I want to run outside not inside. I just do arc trainer and elliptical.
I’m just burning those calories..I am to large to train for an event..lol. ๐ I try to listen to a book on the treadmill but I still can’t seem to be on there long before I am like…is my time up yet..lol.
I had to DNF seeker last week but I hope you have better luck!! It sounds like you had a great reading week! Here is my weekly recap!! http://bookbabble.weebly.com/blog/sunday-post1
I am not really liking Seeker but I am trying really hard not to DNF it..I just don’t get it..I have so many unanswered questions that I feel are not going to actually be answered. ๐
WE didn’t get any snow, or so I thought- now today we are getting a ton. Veronica Mars looks good
Veronica Mars is good..loving the audio! ๐
I’m terrible with the exercise thing too. I started doing Piyo = Pilates and Yoga it’s low impact and a it’s a good workout that I can do in the quiet of my own home. I am not a treadmill fan at all. I kind of want a spin bike. I just don’t know where I would put it. I could read while I rode it though so that’s a plus. You could always listen to audio books while you walk.
I’m really excited for Seeker and Red Queen. Just so many negative reviews. It’s a good thing you read many books at once I should be able to catch up. It’s so much more fun to read with a buddy.
You had a awesome week!!!!!
I hope you have a fantastic week!!!!
Mandy, I like your liking Seeker way more than me..I would probably DNF it if it wasn’t for the fact we are reading it together..lol.
Awesome books you have here! ๐ And some of them I added on my tbr too. Happy reading and hope you’ll enjoy them all.
My STS: http://readingadd.blogspot.com/2015/02/stacking-shelves-25.html
I hope you enjoy the ones you added to your list this week too! ๐
