BMR,OHMy (1)The Week in Review is where I combine Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post and It’s Monday! What are you reading?  If you have never joined in on these meme’s you can check them out by clicking on the meme and it will take you to the host blog.

Popping in for a short little note. Still in the Philippines and even though it’s not been bad and I have been to swim in a spring by a waterfall and swam at the beach, I just miss home. I miss my fur babies. Next week I am going to the salon to have my hair done, the last time I got it straightened here it lasted forever, I am talking about almost a year with no curls it was awesome. Not sure what they use but they are good at it…lol. Maybe I will take a pic…before and after…lol.

I am getting lots of reading done. 🙂

What you might have missed on my blog

Books I have added

Nothing, but I admit to looking a little and requesting….lol. (that is when I can get the darn internet to work here!!) This trip is really good for my already overflowing TBR pile…lol.

Books read last week

  • Just Add Water – I enjoyed the other Hunter Shea book I tried and Barb and I decided to do this one as a buddy read for the end of this month. It’s a novella and it was kind of cheesy and gory but I liked it…lol.
  • Keep in a Cold Dark Place – This was a fun MG horror that had a few scary spots so make sure you know your little one and what they can take. It reminded me a bit of Gremlins and Critters.
  • The Irish Inheritance – A Genealogical mystery and I know that will get at least one person I knows  attention…lol. It didn’t grab me at the beginning but I did start to get into it and enjoy it. It’s about an ex-cop who becomes more or less a genealogical detective. I am curious to listen to the next one.

Currently reading

  • Murder on Black Swan Lane – Historical mystery and if you are a fan of Deanna Raybourne’s books then I think you will enjoy this one. I am only 27% in but I am hooked. There are two boys in it that crack me up.
  • Ghostal Living – Book 3 in the Hampton’s Home and Garden cozy series. It’s good so far and I enjoyed the other two. (audio)

What might be up next

  • The Supernormal Sleuthing Service – This sounds so cute!
  • The Heartless City – Young Dr.Jekyll makes a race of monsters with a Hyde drug, need I say more…lol. (audio)

How was your week? What did you get?
