Mondays! Sundaypost

Hi everyone today I am combining my TSP and Monday post together because I just didn’t have a lot of time to plan separate ones. They both sort of go together anyway. :) The Sunday post is hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and It’s Monday is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

So not much happened this week. It’s been sort of a lazy week, especially without a job. I have gotten myself  a part time job at the Scholastic call center but it doesn’t start until September and only goes till mid December, but it’s a paycheck. It also doesn’t help my TBR pile because you can get books in their bookstore from like .35 up to 3.00!! Good books too!

I am still working on organizing my bookshelves and it has become harder than I thought it would be because I am finding more and more books that I don’t really want to put on the shelf because I want to get rid of them and now I have piles of books everywhere. :( Now I just have to figure out what to do with them..might do a giveaway once I start working so I have money to package them. :)

Reviewed last week(click the title for the review):

Stormi’s Reviews (aka ladystorm)

Amity by Micol Ostow  (This one was okay but I was hoping it was going to be better. )

A Bouquet of Love by Janice Thompson (I loved this one! Janice Thompson is one of my favorite Christian romance authors..she makes me laugh every time!)

The Red Hot Fix by T.E. Woods (Second book in the series and although not bad, it was quite as good as the first one.)

Kathy’s Reviews

Victories by Mercedes Lackey and Rosemary Edghill

Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr

Gabriel Finley and the Raven’s Riddle by George Hagen (Her reviewing this book reminds me that I need to as well..ugh)

Bernie and the Putty by Steve Lebel

It’s In His Kiss by Jill Shalvis

Darkest Mercy by Melissa Marr

Safe and Sound by K. S. Krupa

Kathy sure was putting out the reviews this week!

Coming this week:

I’m glad you’ve found a job, Stormi, even if it’s only for a few months. Is there a chance it can become a long-term stint? I don’t think I could work for a publisher… I would probably spend my salary on books :)
    Have a fantastic week!

Your book organizing problems made me laugh. That’s pretty much exactly why I’m terrified to organize my own! I’ve got Of Monsters and Madness coming up as well. I’m hoping it is enjoyable. The Scholastic job sounds fun even if it’s only part time and temporary. Good luck! Have a great week!

Ah, Robin Hobb, I’m so behind on her Assassin series (sigh). Organizing bookshelves into piles, how original lol ;) Have a great week !

If money is tight and you have a Half Price Books near by you can always sell the books for cash. Or maybe sell some of them and use the money you get to ship the remaining ones as giveaways! Your local library may be willing to take some too. Our library sells them as a way to raise funds.

Good luck with the new job. September isn’t far away!
