Out with the Old, In with the New ~ November

I did this one a couple of years ago and I have decided to do it again. This time, I am going to do it a bit different and feature the books I read each month and what was my favorite. Then list some most anticipated books for that particular month. If I have decided to do something different in 2017 then I will mention that as well. This was started by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle @ Because Reading

In November I participated in a Month of Giving thanks and realized that on the spot it was really hard to think back throughout the year, to remember if I found some new blogs, narrators, authors or books that I was over the moon about. It was a lot of fun though and everyone seemed to like it and I hope more will participate in 2017! 🙂

November also got busy with my short research paper which I thought sucked but ended up with a 93% so guess it wasn’t as horrible as I thought…lol. So I didn’t read as many books as I would have liked but still managed to get 14 read/listened too. Looking at them I can tell I did much more listening (while searching for research things, etc) cause most of that month was audiobooks…lol.

My favorites:

  • Dead & Kicking -Only listing book one but I liked this series so much that I actually listened to all three books in November! (Tooth and Claw and Deadlocked where the other books)
  • Second Grave of the Left – This one was just as fun as book one, can’t wait to try more!
  • The Amateurs – Not many YA mysteries do I find really good and I really enjoyed this one and the twist at the end! Though I should expect that from this author. 🙂

In 2017, I have a little notebook just for my November giving thanks event. I am going to be better prepared and when I find a new blog, author, narrator or book that I love it’s going in the notebook! So then I don’t have to rack my brain…lol. Making things easier on myself is my goal! 🙂
