Getting Cozy with a Mystery Feb. 1st – 29th

January 19, 2016 Misc. 10

cozy eventI am cohosting the Cloak and Dagger reading challenge with Barb from Booker T’s Farm and I am also doing several other mystery challenges this year so I thought it would be fun to set aside a month for reading mysteries.

In February I plan on doing a lot of mystery reading and would like to invite you to link up and get your mystery on! I have some authors lined up to guest on my blog and Barb has one for her blog and they will be giving away a copy of one of their books so you will want to stop by and check things out. Now I will admit I am huge into cozies right now but you don’t have to read just cozies to cozy up with a mystery. You can read what ever type of mystery novel you are in the mood to read from Hard Boiled to cozy. πŸ™‚ You can read as many as you want during the event.

I decided to make it official with a linky so that you can sign up if you want to join in and read some mysteries then then you can link your mystery reviews in our February linky that will be on my sidebar so we can check out all the great mysteries.

All you need to do is link up your blog to show that you are going to participate. If you want to make a goal post about what you will be reading you can but it’s not mandatory.

Here are a few I plan to read during the event.

A Scone to Die ForΒ a Disguise to die forΒ Girl in the MazeΒ Bachlor's girls guide to murder

I might sign-up for this one. I have quite some cozy mysteries I want to read soon. I am currently reading A Scone to Die for and I am really enjoying it. I pre-ordered a Disguise to die for, it sounds like a lot of fun. I also got quite some cozy mysteries from netgalley and ordered some in paperback, so I actually have a nice pile of mysterie books now.

Fun! I came over here from Lola’s Reviews to check out your challenge. I’ll be editing my first cozy mystery all month, does that count? πŸ˜‰ But seriously, I’ll be watching your challenge so I can add some more books to my queue. I’ll need something to read when I’m done editing. Have fun!
