BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

feature-and-followFeature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

What’s your criteria of a misbehaving author/reviewer?

Hmm, let’s see….

For author, I think they should not get all up in your face for your honest opinion. When they lash out on social media or leave nasty comments it just hurt them. They lose fans. They need to have thicker skin if they want to make it in writing. Learn to shake it off and go on. If you have 100 positive reviews don’t let a few negative ones get to you, be the better author.

For reviewers, I just think you should not be nasty when ranting about a book you didn’t like. There are less harsh ways of saying you hated a book. I always try and look for some positive in all the negative. (Even if I just say I loved the cover!) ๐Ÿ™‚

Wonder Woman Super Hero High

This groundbreaking new middle grade series follows DC Comics’ most iconic female Super Heroes and Super-Villains . . . as high schoolers. At Super Hero High, the galaxy’s most powerful teens nurture their powers and master the fundamentals of what it means to be a hero.

So this is something a little different that what I normally feature. I am going to be reading this one for a blog tour and love my comic book heros. ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t wait to dive into this one as I have always loved Wonder Woman. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wonder Woman sat with her mouth hanging open. She knew it was unbecoming of a warrior princess and heir to the amazon throne, but her mind was on other things-specifically, the video streaming on her computer.

She has secretly sent off an email hoping to get into Super Hero High.

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday ย Teaser but ย you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) toย get your teaser.

Trying to put her disastrous flight behind her, Wonder Woman was looking forward to her Heroes Throughout History Class. “Knowing the past can help us prepare for the future,” her mother always said.

Page 57 from the print copy. Not sure what is going on here but something not so good much have just happened for her to want to put a disastrous flight behind her…hmmm. I am curious. ๐Ÿ™‚

book blogger hop

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. ย Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.

How many books do you normally read in a month?

It depends on the month and how busy I am but I can normally get in about 10-17. (Some of those are audiobooks which helps my numbers.) ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I love my comic book favorites so when a book comes out some times I just can’t help myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. We have similar opinions when it comes to reviewers and authors. I think there’s ways to say that you didn’t like a book without being hateful or disrespectful. I’ve had one author respond really negatively to a review (which was weird because it was actually a pretty good review but there was one thing I didn’t like about the main character) and I’ve been kind of gunshy about their books ever since. Wonder Woman at Super Hero High sounds like a super fun read. I need to pick up some more graphic novels.

Yeah, I had a rude author comment on my blog and I told him he wouldn’t have to worry about my reviews any more cause I wouldn’t be picking out any more of his books. I hate rude comments author or reader.

Wonder Woman isn’t a graphic novel it’s an actual novel! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. This looks so fun! Wonder Woman is my favorite of the Marvel characters. Mostly because I grew up watching Lynda Carter. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy weekend!

  3. I agree, both about authors and reviewers. Authors get crazy sometimes (luckily very few) and sometimes reviewers seem to enjoy unloading on a book, which just seems mean to me. Again very few do this. But yeah… good points. Happy Friday!

Yeah, I always have more than one going and audios are so great for cleaning around the house or working outside. ๐Ÿ™‚
