Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
Bookstagram challenge: Photo of fall book colors.
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
Continuing in a festive annual tradition, #1 New York Timesbestselling author Debbie Macomber returns with a new original holiday novel full of romance and cheer—and the magical prospect of finding love in the most unexpected places.
Friendly and bubbly, Julia Padden likes nearly everyone, but her standoffish neighbor, Cain Maddox, presents a particular challenge. No matter how hard she’s tried to be nice, Cain rudely rebuffs her at every turn, preferring to keep to himself. But when Julia catches Cain stealing her newspaper from the lobby of their apartment building, that’s the last straw. She’s going to break through Cain’s Scrooge-like exterior the only way she knows how: by killing him with kindness.
To track her progress, Julia starts a blog called The Twelve Days of Christmas. Her first attempts to humanize Cain are far from successful. Julia brings him homemade Christmas treats and the disagreeable grinch won’t even accept them. Meanwhile, Julie’s blog becomes an online sensation, as an astonishing number of people start following her adventures. Julia continues to find ways to express kindness and, little by little, chips away at Cain’s gruff façade to reveal the caring man underneath. Unbelievably, Julia feels herself falling for Cain—and she suspects that he may be falling for her as well. But as the popularity of her blog continues to grow, Julia must decide if telling Cain the truth about having chronicled their relationship to the rest of the world is worth risking their chance at love.
Reading this one for the Ho Ho Ho Read-a-thon and I am almost finished. It’s about a cutsy as a Christmas book can get. 🙂
Cain Maddox stepped into the elevator, and they just as the doors were about to close he heard a woman call out. “Hold that for me.” Cain thrust out his arm to keep the doors from sliding shut. He inwardly groaned when he saw the woman who lived across the hall come racing towards him. He kept his eyes trained straight ahead, not inviting conversation.

Cain is the ultimate Scrooge and Julia is bubbly with Christmas kindness and it about drives Cain crazy. He is not much for cheery conversation…lol.
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
“What are you doing?” he demanded. “What does it look like?” she returned. “I’m ringing the bell for charity.” He looked

He looked completely exasperated with her. “Do I need to remind you that you just got over the flu?” Julia
Julia couldn’t argue. “I couldn’t cancel at the last minute. It’s hard enough to get volunteers as it is. Now please move. You’re discouraging donations.”
For half a second it looked like he was about to toss her over his shoulder and gleefully cart her away. Thankfully, he resisted the urge.
“Okay, fine. You want to catch pneumonia, don’t let me stop you.”
“You aren’t going to stop me. Now quit overreacting. I;m only volunteering for an hour.”
He shook his head and stalked away down the street, disappearing around the corner and out of view.
They are getting along better but he is not very happy with her being out in the cold after having the flu (which she got from being nice to him and helping him when he had the flu.) They can bicker pretty good…lol.
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
Are the giveaways on your blog publisher-sponsored giveaways or giveaways of your own books?
A little bit of both, I try to do more publisher sponsered giveaways as it’s easier on my pocketbook but some times I will do my own.
