Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
Color Favorites: Show us some beautiful books in your favorite color.
Hm, Well I don’t have a favorite color really and most say my color isn’t a color. 🙂
So I can’t find very many beautiful book covers (at least to me) in black…lol. I found a lot of creepy and cool ones but nothing that stood out, so you get these three. 🙂
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
Deep in the jungle of Peru, where so much remains unknown, a black, skittering mass devours an American tourist whole. Thousands of miles away, an FBI agent investigates a fatal plane crash in Minneapolis and makes a gruesome discovery. Unusual seismic patterns register in a Kanpur, India earthquake lab, confounding the scientists there. During the same week, the Chinese government “accidentally” drops a nuclear bomb in an isolated region of its own country. As these incidents begin to sweep the globe, a mysterious package from South America arrives at a Washington, D.C. laboratory. Something wants out.
The world is on the brink of an apocalyptic disaster. An ancient species, long dormant, is now very much awake.
This one is next up on my list as I have been seeing so many good reviews and I need something fun and creepy can’t wait to read this one, 🙂
Outside Manu National Park, Peru
The guide wanted to tell the group of Americans to shut up. Of course they weren’t seeing any animals: their constant complaining was driving them away.
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
What is your preferred method of following blogs?
So since I already answered today’s question cause things got all mixed up I am using the question given that some did a couple weeks ago. 🙂
This might sound bad but it depends on the blog and how much we have in common. If a blogger blogs about a lot of books I like, especially crime, then I will follow by email so I can have fast up to date reviews, etc. Other than that I normally follow by bloglovin, facebook and twitter and if I like their instagram I will follow it. (I have my bloglovin set up in sections based on blog content as well so I know where I want to go and what I am in the mood for looking at on a certain day.)
A little scary, but probably engaging. Thanks for sharing, and here’s mine: “IN TWENTY YEARS”
So reminds me of a syfy movie. 🙂 It’s been pretty good but so creepy.
I need to organize bloglovin a little bit better as I kind of just have everyone in one feed which gets a little overwhelming. The Hatching sounds seriously creepy. Just the blurb gives me the shivers!
It is a bit creepy, makes me feel like spiders are everywhere…lol.
This sounds really creepy. I hope you are enjoying it. I’m working my way through TBR mountain and landed on Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas this week. Happy reading!
I am enjoying it though I really don’t like all the hoping around it does, but the spiders are super creepy!
Wow. The Hatching does sound creepy. If the writing is any good the book could keep you on the edge of your seat, I can tell.
My Friday Quotes
Oh my land! Those books… THOSE BOOKS! The covers are amazing. The Hatching! Whoa! Signed up for your email list and followed you on twitter, fb, ig. 🙂 Good to see you! ~Kelly
This definitely sounds creepy. Not my usual fare but sounds intriguing and I like that the President is a woman. Enjoy!
I started The Hatching last night and am already 76% in to it. I’m loving it so I say the sooner you start it, the better!
I am liking it but I am not a fan of all the hoping around from country to country, state to state, I get confused…but the spiders are super creepy…lol.
I LOVE the Wildfire cover, that’s so going on my list too.
I’ve never done The Friday 56 or the Book Blogger hop, I’ll have to check it out.
New bloglovin follower.
This one seems interesting. Enjoy it once you get to it! 🙂
I think I need more, but it does seem promising. Happy weekend!
I think I’d keep reading, it sounds interesting.
I just recently finished writing my review for this book and will be sharing it soon. This was a wicked fun one and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, Stormi. I love those covers you chose. We are attracted to the same thing!
I follow through Bloglovin. I have mine set into groups based on the blogs I visit most to least. I also have a group for authors and a group about WordPress stuff. I get through my main group the most and then go down the list depending on how much time I have.
The Hatching sounds really interesting. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Oh wow that sounds interesting! Thanks for sharing! Here is my Friday 56
That one sounds like a real thriller.
I like how you responded to the favorite color covers. 🙂 I don’t have a favorite color either. I go through phases where I might prefer certain colors over others, but it’s always passing.
I tend to follow blogs via Inoreader, which I discovered recently. Before that it is The Old Reader (actually called The Old Reader–not to be confused with Google’s Reader). I also find a lot of blogs via comments left on my own blog.
I hope you have a great day!
I hadn’t heard of that! It sounds pretty good. 🙂
