BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

Have you ever been inspired by a book character to do something? Who was the character and what was it? – Suggested byEternity Through Pages

Of the top of my head I can’t  think of any book characters who have inspired me to do something. I admire many characters spunk, intelligence and things like that but I haven’t been inspired to do something like they do.

In this new series told from multiple perspectives, teen members of a search and rescue team discover a dead body in the woods.

Alexis, Nick, and Ruby have very different backgrounds: Alexis has spent her life covering for her mom’s mental illness, Nick’s bravado hides his fear of not being good enough, and Ruby just wants to pursue her eccentric interests in a world that doesn’t understand her. When the three teens join Portland County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, they are teamed up to search for a autistic man lost in the woods. What they find instead is a dead body. In a friendship that will be forged in danger, fear, and courage, the three team up to find the girl’s killer—before he can strike one of their own.

This first book in April Henry’s Point Last Seen YA mystery series is full of riveting suspense, putting readers in the middle of harrowing rescues and crime scene investigations.

This book sort of fell by the wayside and this year I am really trying to pick up some of those review books that I clicked but never read. Not sure why I waited so long to get into this one because I am enjoying it so far! 🙂

For Alexis Frost, Nick Walker, and Ruby McClure, it all started with a phone call and two texts. It ended with fear and courage, love and loathing, screaming and blood. Lots of blood.

Isn’t that a intriguing start to a book! 🙂

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday  Teaser but  you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.

This teaser comes from 56% on my kindle. I am enjoying this book although I was hoping for a little more action. I have a feeling all the action will be at the end. Right now I am currently at 57% and hope to have this one finished by today. 🙂

At this part in the book the Search and Rescue were sent out to find a lot hiker, it didn’t take long at all to find him. It was snowing so poor George was very happy to see them.

“Go ahead and take care of your subject, and extract down when you’re ready.”

Jon grinned at his team. “Copy.”

Nick gave George a large fleece. Even though he knew what was coming, he still was surprised by this fierceness of the other man’s hug. He kept a poker face but on the inside he was smiling.

So this is my first time trying this friday meme. I thought why not add another one to my Friday memes. 🙂 It’s hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.

Do you read more on a rainy day or on a gorgeous day so you can be outside?

I don’t think the weather has much affect on my reading because I read no matter what it looks like outside but I do think rainy days are meant to be snuggled up on the couch with a good read. 🙂 If I am outside doing things there is always audiobooks I can hook up too and enjoy. 🙂

If you participate in any of theses memes please leave your link in a comment and I will go check out yours. 🙂

  1. Both of those teasers are really interesting! Not quite sure whether it is one for me, but I hope you enjoy it! I also had a bit of a struggle with this week’s FF question until I just went down the inspiration-route! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend!

  2. I’m like you – weather doesn’t matter too much but I do love a rainy day for reading. The Body in the Woods sounds really interesting! I have so many review books that have dropped through the cracks for no reason. Hope the read stays solid and look forward to your review!

Yeah, this year I am trying really hard to put some older review books in the middle of my newer ones. 🙂

  3. I remember looking at this. I was tempted but decided not to request. I do have a pile of unread egalleys though, sigh.

The beginning is strong and attention grabbing. I hope you find that the action picks up.
