Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
Is there a book/series that everyone seems to love but you can’t stand? Why?
There is only one series that I can think of that I can’t stand but a lot of people enjoyed and that would be the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. I am sure there are more but that is the only series that came to mind…lol.
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
So going to start featuring some of the many books I have for review for October! I didn’t realize I grabbed up so many! I need to be better organized…lol. Anyway this one of my most anticipated books for October as I really love this series!
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday  Teaser but  you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
“You better believe it,” was the impish reply.
Smiling, Max walked away, toward the locked cupboards at the back. “We have two hours ahead of us, so why don’t yu choose your weapon?”
He opened the double doors of the wardrobe to reveal his arsenal of crops, whips, paddles, bats, maces and more. There was nothing he hadn’t tried.
So this is actually from 42% because I thought the 56% was a little spoilery (hmm is that a word…lol) for anyone who has read the series. This guy is actually from book 4 so anyone who has read the series might know him and his connection to Helen.
So what do you think? Any takers on starting this series if you haven’t already? 🙂 I know I am ready to get started on this after looking for a teaser! Teased myself too much…lol.
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Â Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
Do you encourage other reading friends to start a blog or at least put their thoughts/reviews on public reading sites such as Goodreads, Amazon, etc?
Besides, my blogging friends I have gained I really don’t have any reading friends. I know that is sad but others I know around me don’t read and I really don’t have that many friends besides those online. Yep I am a semi-hermit-antisocial book blogger…lol.
I love your inclusive approach here:)). Little Boy Blue looks gripping – that is certainly a huge hook… Have a great week-end.
I’m definitely going to have to give that one a shot. I actually haven’t read Aldridge’s stuff so that’ll be worth checking out too. Great post.
I totally agree with you about the Twilight series! I did get sucked into the first book and tried the second, which I thought was just stupid and DNF’d! I had also bought the third book, thinking the series would get better, but ended up throwing all the books in the garbage b/c I was honestly embarrassed to have them in my personal library! LOL! Looking back, I wish I’d donated the books, but oh, well! Happy Friday! 😀 New Twitter follower!
The excerpts reeled me in! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy! And thanks for visiting my blog.
I’m going to have to check out this series – it does sound interesting especially since she’s a cop clearly living a double life of sorts – thanks for visiting my Friday meme earlier
This sounds like one for me. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Very intriguing! Sounds like perfect Fall reading! Happy weekend!
That is an intriguing start to Little Boy Blue! My real life reading friends have absolutely no interest in reviewing books or creating a blog or even reading about books. I can’t even get them to join Goodreads. I’ve tried but they would rather spend that time reading rather than writing online. Needless to say, they get a lot more reading done than I do.
I tried with my book club, but no one is interested.
ENJOY your weekend.
Happy Hopping!!

Oh yikes! This one sounds too dark for me! I’d love for your readers to check out mine! http://tinyurl.com/LisaKsBookReviewsBlogSEM
Sounds interesting. I’m curious to know what she is hiding. I am spotlighting All the Little Liars by Charlaine Harris – the latest in the Aurora Teagarden series. Happy reading!
Wow! I love it hen you share a new author that I know I’ll enjoy. This sounds fab, Stormi!
Sounds like it could be a good one! 🙂
