Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
What are your favorite books that have been made into a movie? – Suggested by Girl of 1000 Wonders
I have to go with Persuasion by Jane Austen. I loved the 1995 version with Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds.
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
Half-Moon Hollow’s supernatural social event of the season—Zeb’s Titanic-themed werewolf wedding—is coming up, and Dick Cheney (not that Dick Cheney!) needs a date. But Andrea’s had enough of clever, handsome, and rakish to last a lifetime, and Dick Cheney is certainly not the sort of man you bring home to mom (not that Andrea’s deadist parents are speaking to her ever since she dropped out of college and became a blood surrogate.) Shameless, relentless, roguish, with a Stetson-worthy swagger, a naughty sparkle in his eyes, and a constant smirk—oh, and fangs—no, Dick is the last person (er…vampire) Andrea wants to date.
But the infuriatingly irresistible man who lives quietly on the edge of a criminal underworld knows exactly what he wants, and once he surprises Andrea with a thrilling hot and dirty kiss behind the paranormal bookshop, she knows what she wants too: Dick. All it takes to ignite their unconventional courtship is a near-undeath experience that confronts Dick with a choice between turning Andrea, losing her forever, or tapping into his countless shady resources in this hilarious and heartwarming enovella that revisits the early days of Molly Harper’s Nice Girls series—one that “makes me laugh and laugh”
I love Molly Harper and this is a book that I am getting ready to read once I get done with my current read. 🙂 I can’t wait!
It’s going to be great as the first two sentences already have me smiling! Molly Harper always cracks me up! I love her snarky humor.
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
Okay, so I think Darla was feeding for the first time and got a little bit carried away…lol. Cause if I remember right that is what Andrea did for money, she was a blood donor.
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
If you could give away books instead of candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween Night, what would the titles be?
I would probably give out the Spooksville series by Christopher park and Goosebumps by R.L. Stine and maybe Bunnicula by James Howe for the real young. 🙂
Such a fun title and cover. You know I want this one now! And I’m going to come trick-or-treat at your house! LOL
Happy Halloween, Stormi!
Ha ha, I actually don’t have to worry about trick or treaters because I live down a lane with the woods on each side so it’s pretty spooky and doesn’t look like a place anyone would go down for some candy…living in the country has it’s plus sides some times. 🙂
I live rural too. It gets creepy any time of the year when it gets dark!
Werwolf mating guides. LOL
I love Molly Harper’s books! 🙂
Why have I not read more Molly Harper?? The one book I read I loved but I’ve yet to pick up another one of her books. This sounds really fun. Goosebumps books are a great idea and I swear I’m going to read Bunnicula one of these days!
Oh my why have you not! You need to get on that right now…lol. 🙂 She is my go to author for laughs!
I’ve never heard of this series, but it sounds like a lot of fun. 🙂
Check out my Friday 56 (With Book Beginnings) and my Halloween giveaway.
It is a lot of fun and if you try it start with the Jane Jameson series cause it’s the start of it as Half Moon Hollow is the spin off. 🙂
Thanks for sharing and for stopping by our blog.
Thanks for stopping by mine. 🙂
I’m not a fan of vampires, but I did enjoy the humor and the hint of fun ahead. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Yeah, these are the fun not violent vamps but I still love them. 🙂
This sounds like a really fun, funny book! Definitely interested.

The series is a lot of fun! If you decide to try them start with Jane Jameson cause this is a spin off series. 🙂
Those would be great Halloween books to give out.
I made a bad choice with my book….it isn’t even a Halloween book. LOL!! Wasn’t thinking I guess. It is a favorite book.
Happy Halloween and Happy Hopping!!

Well, it didn’t say it had to be Halloweenish but that is what popped into my mind…lol. 🙂
Hi,
Sounds spooky for sure. Have a great day!
Nah, not real spooky they are fun vamps…lol.
Love the book cover, title and the beginning and 56 both made me smile – definitely adding this to my reading list. Here’s My Friday Post
These are such fun books and the humor makes me laugh out loud. Enjoy!
Hopping through. I haven’t seen Persuasion. I’ll have to check it out because I enjoyed the book.
My FF
LOL…Bunnicula! I never heard of it. I wish I had though. My Hop
Bunnita @ Worth Reading It?
Great title and cover…I love a good play on words!
I love the title of this book, it’s super catchy. The 56 is also interesting.
I’ve read a few books by this author but am woefully behind. I’m spotlighting Sweep in Peace by Ilona Andrews this week. Happy reading!
Yikes, that’s one interesting 56! Enjoy your Halloween!
I will have to think about this one. Normally I avoid all books with vampires. Happy Friday!
I can’t help but giggle. Sounds like a fun read! Happy weekend!
I just finished listening to Single Undead Moms Club from Molly Harper. I love her work. I’ll be sure to pick up this one too, but on audio.
New Bloglovin’ follower! Persuasion is the only book by Austen that I’ve read yet and honestly, I didn’t know it has a movie though I should’ve probably known, lol.
Musings of the Bookaholic Fairies
You caught my eye with Persuasion, which I’ve never watched! Hope the Halloween rush was fun 🙂
