Since there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.
Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
How many books have you got on your TBR list? – Suggested by Obsessive Compulsive Reader
Oh my, you really don’t want to know the answer to this…lol. I have more books than I will probably ever read in a lifetime. I can’t even use my Goodreads want to read cause I don’t count that as it has some books on it that I don’t actually own. Then if you also count what is on my kindle and nook..oh I just don’t want to think about it..lol. I just recently started organizing my book hoarding obssession and even with getting rid of like 200 books I still have 500+ books either on a shelf or in a tub just waiting for me to read them. But guess what…I STILL KEEP BUYING! It’s an addiction I can’t seem to quit..lol. They are just so pretty! 🙂
Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. Take the first sentence of your current read and post it.
Two people are abducted, imprisoned, and left with a gun. As hunger and thirst set in, only one walks away alive.
It’s a game more twisted than any Detective Inspector Helen Grace has ever seen. If she hadn’t spoken with the shattered survivors herself, she almost wouldn’t believe them.
Helen is familiar with the dark sides of human nature, including her own, but this case—with its seemingly random victims—has her baffled. But as more people go missing, nothing will be more terrifying than when it all starts making sense….
Now that is an opener! I just finished this book last night and I really enjoyed it.

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday Teaser but you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.
“Bit late for that, isn’t it? Besides, there’s no need. I’ve called her myself. She’ll be here in five minutes.”
Emilia entered the room looking like the cat that had got the cream. She took time deciding between tea and coffee, indulging in the small talk and so on. She had been summoned, anointed, and she was clearly enjoying herself.
Emilia is a press hound who has been trailing Helen trying to get the scoop, but Helen won’t tell her what is going on so she put out her own story about the police being clueless. She has been called in by the man in charge and thinks she is pretty cool. She finds out differently and that is what came after this part here…lol. Press are so smug.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.
Can you read in a room with noise or do you have to have total quiet?
I can’t stand the quiet so I always have to have some sort of noise going on. Most of the time I have some of my favorite series running in the background for noise, but whether music or TV I need noise. 🙂
Kathy Martin
This book sounds intriguing – a little scary, but intriguing. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. Happy reading!
Stormi
Oh my this book was like…what? I was so taken back by who the killer was as well as a lot of things that went on in this book..lol.
Olivia @ Fluttering Pages
I like to have background noise when I’m doing something too!
And wow…that’s a lot of books.
Olivia @ Fluttering Pages
Stormi
LOL, yeah that is a lot of books and I didn’t count my kindle or nook..*hangs head*…hehe.
Juli @ Universe in Words
Oh wow, that beginning is one hell of an opener, I mean, wow! But there’s also a brutal honesty there that’s interesting! The F56 didn’t quite grab me in the same way! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I hope you have great weekend!

I know that was an opener! The whole books was pretty cool and that ending..didn’t have a clue who the killer was till the end and then it was like..what?
Tracy (@Cornerfolds)
After today’s topic I’ve realized that I really need to do some cleaning in the TBR department too… Happy Friday!
Stormi
This is why I am trying really hard to cut down on review books, so I can read my own..lol. (not saying that it’s working great or not but I am trying!)
Stina @ Once Untold
I have a few thousand books on my TBR. It just keeps growing.
Stormi
I don’t feel so bad about my ever growing TBR pile now. 🙂
Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life
Some really interesting memes here! I, like most all book bloggers, have an ENORMOUS TBR… It’s sad, really. I think we all have an obsession with buying books when we still have so many unread, so no worries, you’re definitely not alone, Stormi!
The first line of Eeeny Meeny is so captivating. Creepy and a little bit atmospheric- totally loving the sound of it!
The last question is actually really interesting… I feel you on the noise thing! I can read both with or without noise, as long as the environment is ‘stable’ persay. I can’t read when there’s random shouting and stuff going on (which is often with so much family!) so I’ll put on music that normally fades to the background. Otherwise, I normally read in the quiet!
Lovely post & happy Friday! <3
Stormi
I am glad I am not alone in the enormous TBR pile collection. 🙂 Eeny Meeny was really good!
Freda
Sounds super scary! I love it!
Stormi
It was great!
laura thomas
I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, my TBR is as huge as yours. I don’t really use it as as want to read any more because there are so many I’ll never get to. And I like noise while I’m reading, especially when I’m outside. A lawnmower is perfect. LOL
I’ve got to read Eeny Meeny! So chilling.
Stormi
Laura, I think you would really like Eeny Meeny! It was a great British crime novel and very strange and I was like..what in places..lol.

Old Follower! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
Angelica @ Paperback Princess
LOL my answer to my Feature & Follow Friday post is pretty much the same as yours. I’ve got a huge TBR pile, I mean I have 1000+ on my ebook reader, and then 80% of the books on my shelves are unread, but then I continue to borrow from library and buy books and getting books for review too…the purchasing of books when you’ve got so many unread is a bad addiction LOL
Stormi
Yep, it’s an addiction, we just can’t help it. 🙂
Cayt
That’s why I have two shelving on Goodreads, one for to read and one for to read, not owned. My already owned to read pile is 300 something…too many!
Sharon
I’m a little late getting around to everyone’s posts this week but I’m glad to hear you enjoyed that book. It does sound really good.
