BMR,Friday's MemeSince there are a few Friday Meme’s that I want to participate in I have decided to post them all in one post.

featurefollowFeature and Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Have you ever been to BEA? If not, what’s stopping you? If you have, what was your best experience there? – Suggested byThe Paperback Princess

I have not ever been to BEA although I have wanted too, but I can’t afford New York. Not on my own and I haven’t found a travel buddy for that far away. Now that it is coming to Chicago in 2016 I am really hoping to be able to go and hopefully I will be able to stay with my two new online buddies and meet them for the first time, Berls and Michelle!! I am hoping to keep cost down by taking a train to Chicago and then sharing hotel price with them..if we can. I guess it will just depend on how nice 2015 treats me and how money looks at the beginning of 2016..so we shall see!!!!!

It’s not easy being the daughter of the High Chieftain of the Luck Uglies.

Now an insidious new lawman in Drowning has declared Rye an outlaw, and she’s stuck on the strange and remote Isle of Pest. But the island quickly feels much less remote when the battle to control the future of the Luck Uglies moves to its shores.

To defeat the Luck Uglies’ bitterest rivals, Rye must defy a deranged earl, survive a test meant to judge the grit of the fiercest men–and uncover some long-buried family secrets. And when Rye leads the charge to defend the island, she and her friends will meet an eerily familiar enemy. . . .

It wasn’t often that anyone thumped the cottage’s rusting iron door knocker after dark, but Rye O’Chanter still never expected to find three twisted, leering faces on the other side.

This is totally expected of an Luck Ugly book. 🙂 I enjoyed the first one in this series so I am glad to be back in Drowning with Rye and seeing what kind of trouble she is going to get in to, because Rye is always in some sort of trouble. 🙂

Friday 56

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice. It’s like Tuesday  Teaser but  you have a specific place in your read that you have to turn in your read (page 56 or 56%) to get your teaser.

“You really think Slinister could have followed you here? Quinn asked Rye skeptically.

He hurried along with Rye and Folly toward a low lying meadow not far from Wick Harbor.

“I don’t know, Quinn. Did you and Folly put this on the sill?

Okay since I know who Slinister is I am really curious about this and what is happening as I haven’t gotten to this spot yet.

56% of the eARC on my kindle.

book blogger hop

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.  Each week we are asked a question to answer so it reminds me a bit of FF and so I thought it made a good fit to my other Friday Memes.

Which books have you read in the past month that still have you thinking back to the storyline and the characters?
 Dark Alchemy Dangerdating

Dark Alchemy is what I read a few days ago and it still has me thinking about it. I also just finished The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire and OMG it was so good..ready for the next one to come out now. 🙂 I love all of Molly Harper’s books and this one will be my favorite for the month. Other than that not a lot of the books I have read have me thinking about them.

  1. I would like to take the trip to Chicago as well, Stormi… but for me it will really depend on whether or not I find a teaching job for next year or not… If I do, I will be working until the end of June, and it’s not exactly easy to take time off outside of the school holidays.
    Have a fantastic weekend 🙂

  2. I hope all 3 of us end up at BEA! It will be my first year teaching, assuming I find a job – but its so close to the end of the school year (usually get out within first week of May) that I’m hopeful it will be okay. Lets cross our fingers that 2015 & early 2016 is good for our budgets and ability to take off work!

  3. Great choice for your 56! So descriptive and the cover is fun.
I’m almost finished with Dark Alchemy and I love it! So wicked and weird. LOL
Have a great weekend! I have company in town and will be offline most of this weekend.

  4. I don’t know if BEA moving to Chicago is better or worse for me… We’ll see, I guess. I mostly go to local events that are much smaller, but they’re still fun! 🙂
