A wanted serial killer and his girlfriend are on a bloody killing spree across the United States. Agents Hank Rawlings and Beth Harper, along with the rest of their team, are on a nationwide manhunt to bring them to justice.
Scene after scene and body after body only add to the media coverage. The wanted couple’s faces are splashed across every television and cover the front pages of every newspaper, yet Hank’s team remains a step behind—leaving them searching through the wreckage and bodies left in the couple’s wake.
As the pair takes a turn for the border, Hank must pull out all the stops to capture the murderous lovers before they take more lives, cross the border, and slip through the FBI’s grasp.
The hunt is on.

Here is what I thought

Agents Hank and Beth are on a manhunt along with some fellow officers as they chase down a man and woman who have creating chaos all over as they try and make their way to the border.

Nick and Molly don’t seem to care about who the kill as they travel around murdering and taking cars and anything they want from anybody, kind of like a Bonnie and Clyde, but there is a little bit of a squabble between the two as Molly is extremely jealous and it could get them caught.

It seems like the agents are always one step behind and they need to catch a break before the murdering duo gets to Mexico. It’s crunch time! Had me worried about the agents there at the end!

I really like Agent Hank and Beth, and it’s been nice getting to know them a little more with each book.

Another good addition to the Agent Hank Rawling series and can’t wait to get the next one in the series to listen too!

Recommend if you like

You have enjoyed the authors previous books in the series, crime novels about serial killers, murder and mayhem, FBI, good characters.

The Narrator

The more I listen to him the more I am liking him. He does really good with as many voices as he has had to try and do.

This series is new to me but I love a good crime thriller, whether in tv series or books, and this sounds right up my alley. A killer couple on the run for the border? FBI hunting them down? Gimme gimme. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Glad you’re enjoying the series.
