Here is what I thought
This was my first book by this author though I have a couple of hers in my TBR pile. It was a short but good cozy mystery.
Francesca Amaro moved back home to take over her families Italian Cafe. They make the fancy coffees with the cool decorations in your foam. (never understood why people do that when you just drink it anyway…lol) Anyway, she goes to check on a neighbor and finds him dead. He is a man she has known for a very long time and wants to find out who murdered him.
Along with his son Matty (Matt) she hunts for clues to find out who would want to kill the elderly gentleman.
It was a good mystery, I wasn’t one where you could easily guess the killer. The characters are good as well. I liked Francesca she made a good sleuth and has a cool coffee joint. The secondary characters are a lot of fun too. I especially like Matt.
Even though it was a short listen it had a well-rounded mystery and I enjoyed it.
