A Month of Giving Thanks ~Day 27 ~Blogger
I have seen this done on Felicia @ Geeky Blogger blog and then I seen Berls and Michelle do it as well. As you can see Michelle gave me her button to use as I decided I wanted to do something this year.
Here is what you will see all month long on Books, Movies, Reviews. Oh my! I will be mentioning varies Bloggers, Authors, and Narrators on my blog. There could be more than one post a day as I think I came up with a list that went over 30 days. I also know that I can’t possibly mention every blogger, author or narrator I know all in thirty days so please don’t be upset if you didn’t get a mention cause if this goes over well and I find I liked doing it there is always next year. 🙂
I’m a stay-at-home mom with 4 kids Eleanor (19), Emma (17), Paul (16) and the Tornado (4). In the corporate world, I was a Systems Analyst dealing with computer security.
In addition to books I love food and always love to try new recipes. I like to think I can do DIY projects but the results are decidedly mixed! I enjoy TV but have commitment issues with movies. TV-wise I like pretty much any of the BBC dramas including Sherlock, Whitechapel, and Doctor Who as well mystery shows like Elementary, CSI, NCIS and the spin-offs (though the Los Angeles one is a bit of a guilty pleasure), Criminal Minds, just about all the food competitions on Food Network and The Big Bang Theory.
I’ve always been a reader and generally have at least 1 book with me. My Kindle has made life a little easier because I no longer have to worry about finishing a book without another one with me. I read a wide variety of genres but especially mystery, food memoirs, romance and history. I also have a tendency to collect cookbooks. The local library has slowed the accumulation down a little but not much.
I can’t remember when I started following Katherine’s blog but I know I found her through The Sunday Post and realized that she liked reading a lot of the same types of books I did, especially cozy mysteries!! 🙂 She has helped add a lot to my TBR pile over the last few years. 🙂 She has always been super sweet when commenting on my blog and I know I have added to her TBR pile as well. 🙂
