A Month of Giving Thanks ~Day 10 ~ Author

November 10, 2016 Misc. 2

I have seen this done on Felicia @ Geeky Blogger blog and then I seen Berls and Michelle do it as well. As you can see Michelle gave me her button to use as I decided I wanted to do something this year.

Here is what you will see all month long on Books, Movies, Reviews. Oh my! I will be mentioning varies Bloggers, Authors, and Narrators on my blog. There could be more than one post a day as I think I came up with a list that went over 30 days. I also know that I can’t possibly mention every blogger, author or narrator I know all in thirty days so please don’t be upset if you didn’t get a mention cause if this goes over well and I find I liked doing it there is always next year. 🙂

Author Marty Wingate:

Marty Wingate is a Seattle-based writer and speaker who shares her love of Britain in her two mystery series. The Potting Shed books feature Pru Parke, a middle-aged American gardener transplanted from Texas to England, and Birds of a Feather follows Julia Lanchester, bird lover, who runs a tourist office in a Suffolk village. Marty writes garden articles for magazines including Country Gardens and the American Gardener. She is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and the Crime Writers Association. She leads garden tours to England, Scotland and Ireland, spending free moments deep in research for her books. Or in pubs.

In the last couple of years, I have really gotten into cozy mysteries and found Marty’s Potting Shed series and got hooked on her books. They are set in England and have been very interesting. She is a very nice lady who I have hosted on my blog before with a guest post. Something I need to do more off in the future! If you like cozies then you should give her books a try. 🙂
